NCPS accredited integrative counsellor based in Manchester, offering in-person and online therapy for adults, couples, young people and children.
Hi, I’m Zaira. I became a counsellor because I know first-hand how isolating it can feel to carry something heavy — especially when the people around you don’t have the language or the space to hold it with you.
Having grown up navigating multiple cultures, I understand the unique pressures that come with identity, family expectations, faith, and belonging. I’ve sat in the space between worlds, and I bring that understanding into every session.
My aim is simple: to create a space where you feel genuinely safe, genuinely heard, and genuinely supported — whatever that looks like for you.
I work integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic models — tailoring my approach to the person in front of me rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method.
My practice is grounded in Person-Centred therapy, blended with Psychodynamic insights and CBT techniques. For clients who wish it, I can integrate Islamic values and a faith-informed perspective — always optional, never assumed.

I came to Zaira for anxiety and stayed for the personal growth. Eighteen months later I'm in a completely different place. She's professional, warm, and genuinely invested in your wellbeing.
I was nervous about finding a therapist who wouldn't judge my beliefs. Zaira was the opposite โ she used my faith as a strength. That changed everything for me.
My teenage daughter refused to see anyone for months. Zaira had her opening up in the first session. She's truly gifted with young people.
